JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution is not entirely an brand-new feature. Instead, the latest movie from the JuJutsu Kaisen action franchise serves as a collection of the anime's second season merged with the first two episodes of its third season, which launches the Culling Games storyline from the original manga. This establishes Execution, which has been given a latest teaser, the quickest way to watch the start of the next season ahead of its premiere in early 2026. The movie premieres in Japanese theaters on November 7, and in the United States and Canada on December 5.

The Culling Games Plot

"The Thunderclap sequence" from season 2 is often hailed as one of the greatest sequences in anime history, notwithstanding all the controversy in 2023 when the installments originally aired. It was stated that the artists were facing tight schedules to the extent, and the broadcast edition that aired at the time was not fully polished and allegedly not what the artists first envisioned.

It'd be a shame if it hadn't, because a scene of that magnitude has to be watched on the cinema screen with the best presentation possible.

Season Two Success

The second season of JuJutsu Kaisen elevated the franchise to become 2024's anime of the year, and when episodes 40 and 41 were aired consecutively, it was the subject of discussion for an extended period in the animation fandom. Audiences knew about the problems with the production, which made them admire what they witnessed even more. People clamored to see if the Blu-ray, launched in mid-March, would add any additional scenes to the sequence or to see if it was refined somewhat, and were elated to see exactly that, alongside reshades, more motion, and different color grading.
