Athletic Bilbao will visit the Basque side in the Spanish league two and a half years since relocating to allow renovations to start. “We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.” Attendance will be limited but 45,401 spectators will be allowed to watch as per the current authorization. Once fully finished, it will accommodate almost 105,000 spectators, increasing from the former 99,000. The club said finished work included an updated entryway for the team along with upgraded changing facilities. Stadium Testing Barcelona held an open training session at the Camp Nou earlier this month. They mentioned they are seeking authorization by UEFA to play their next home Champions League game facing Eintracht next month in the renovated venue. Previous fixtures took place at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
