The final installment of the platform's supernatural phenomenon Stranger Things is expected to be one of the biggest releases of this year. Part one airs on 27 November, but a sneak peek of the eerie opening five minutes has been released online. The Beginning: A Return to the show's origins This installment, titled the opening chapter, transports viewers to the origins of the show in the year 1983, following the loss of Will Byers. "Do I remain or leave?" he vocalizes in an effort to remain composed in the Upside Down. Events swiftly escalate into horrifying the moment a monstrous creature materializes and drags Will to the stronghold of Vecna. "At long last, it's time to commence," he tells the youth as propelling a plant-like appendage through his esophagus. "You and I, we are going to do incredibly wondrous deeds in unison." Air Dates and Cinematic Screenings The second part of the last season will be broadcast on the day after Christmas, and the series finale released on January 1 – and will also have presented in certain theaters. Story Outline The summary explains: "The season of 1987. Hawkins bears the marks by the emergence of dimensional tears, and the main characters come together by a shared mission: find and kill the enemy. Yet his location is unknown – his whereabouts and plans a mystery. Making more difficult the task, officials has put the community under armed isolation and increased the pursuit for the heroine, pushing her back into hiding. While the commemoration of the boy's vanishing approaches, so does a profound, recognizable anxiety. The final battle is on the horizon – and with it, an evil mightier and more deadly than anything they have encountered previously. Creator Comments The surprise clip was posted to YouTube following the series' Los Angeles premiere recently, which was attended by the stars like the lead actress and her co-star. "The scale of this installment is larger … It's more action and enhanced CGI, but it's also by far the most heartfelt part as it concludes of the story for each of these personas," the production's co-creator, commented about the concluding installments. His brother and collaborator, added: "Releasing it to the public is nerve-racking, yet we are prepared to present it at last."
